Christmas greetings from Reside Communities CEO Glen Brown

As we approach the festive season I am writing to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy new year on behalf of myself and the entire team at Reside Communities.

The past twelve months was a period of many challenges, with the impact of COVID-19 restrictions felt by us all in different ways. I would like to acknowledge the residents and staff of Samford Grove and Brookland for their tremendous efforts in maintaining a strong, supportive community spirit this year.

I am happy to report that 2021 saw tremendous progress within all our established and emerging communities.

Reside’s new waterfront community Esperance Hope Island has captured the attention of retirees on the Gold Coast and right across Australia. More than 60% of apartments within the first stage Esprit building are secured and we look forward to welcoming the first residents during the latter part of 2022.

The unique golfside retirement lifestyle on offer at Fairway Carindale is also proving very popular. I am delighted to announce that 55% of apartments in the first stage have been snapped up since we launched Fairway just a few months ago.

The dream of taking a relaxing dip in the swimming pool or enjoying a movie in their private cinema will soon be reality for Brookland residents. The resort-style Clubhouse and luxury apartments at the heart of the community are on course to be completed in mid-2022.

Meanwhile, Samford Grove’s newest residents are being welcomed into their brand-new homes in time for Christmas as we celebrate completion of the first two staged of our community expansion. Early in 2022 we look forward to seeing the next stage of our sold-out brand-new homes delivered on schedule.

In the new year our teams will continue to be busy establishing and maintaining the strong foundations which all our residents can rely upon to continue to live a fulfilling retirement.
