Love, laughter and community spirit

Valentine’s Day was an occasion to celebrate at our communities, as residents embraced the opportunity to enjoy friendship, connection and fun. 

At Samford Grove love was certainly in the air – or as residents joked, “in the Grove.” A special pre-Valentine’s hamburger lunch brought neighbours together to share good food, plenty of laughter and warm company.

The relaxed gathering was a reminder that while roses and chocolates are lovely, it’s the everyday moments of connection that truly make a community special. 

Adding to the festivities was the Residents Committee Valentine’s Raffle, with one lucky winner, new resident Val, taking home the prize – and plenty of bragging rights. With her raffle win already under her belt, neighbours are joking Val may also hold the secret to the next winning lotto numbers! 

Meanwhile at Fairway Carindale, the focus was on celebrating the wonderful friendships that flourish within the community. Residents gathered to enjoy good conversation, shared laughs and that unmistakable sense of belonging that defines life at Fairway.

Across both communities, Valentine’s Day served as a beautiful reminder that love comes in many forms – friendship, neighbourly support and the joy of simply spending time together.
