Reside Communities is committed to the health and wellbeing of our residents and staff.
In line with this advice, we have taken steps to make our communities as safe as possible for everyone who lives and works in them during the COVID-19 pandemic, including:
We recognise that the situation continues to develop and we are closely monitoring the situation and staying up to date with the latest guidance.
We will continue to act in the best interests of our residents and evolve our response in line with advice and restrictions from the Federal and State governments.
Our community facilities at Samford Grove are open with the appropriate capacity limits in place.
At Brookland, given the recent cases of COVID-19 who have visited locations on the south side of Brisbane, we have temporarily closed our community centre to residents in order to limit the risk of community transmission. Services such as mail delivery and meal delivery (meal package residents only) have been implemented accordingly to ensure our residents continue to receive the support they need during this time.
Our community centres are still in use as a working environment for staff members and for essential services such as doctor visits. Residents are still permitted to enter the community centre in order to access these services.
We will continue to communicate with our residents directly with updates as they become available.
Yes, we are still welcoming visitors to our villages.
All visitors, including family members, friends, carers, tradespeople and service providers must sign in at Reception upon arrival.
While in the village, we ask that all visitors practise social distancing and follow best practice hygiene guidelines (such as washing or sanitising hands regularly, covering any coughs or sneezes and disposing of tissues responsibly).
Please do not visit a Reside community if you are experiencing any signs of illness, including fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath, or if you have knowingly been in contact with anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Our sales offices are open for business and we would love to show you around our available homes. If possible, please give us a call to make an appointment ahead of time so that our sales team is ready to assist you.

Reside Communities is distributing regular communications to our current and future residents, team members and our sales clients regarding COVID-19.
We will also post any significant updates on this page and on our social media channels as the situation evolves.
